Apprentice Chef

About the Role:

You will be joining a team of experienced chefs which will work closely with you across the Doltone House commercial kitchens located in Pyrmont. You must be committed to completing a three year apprenticeship, averaging 38 hours per week Monday to Sunday.

 

The tasks and responsibilities:

  • Using basic food preparation equipment
  • Responsible for preparing and presenting quality meals
  • Preparing the dishes to the highest standards
  • Responsible for using hygienic practices
  • Accepting direction provided by senior Chef’s
  • Work effectively in a team environment
  • Responsible for working effectively as a Chef
  • Must cook meals to meet particular dietary requirements
  • Preparing appetisers, condiments, soups and salads
  • Preparing poultry seafood and meat dishes

Requirements:

  • You must be enrolled or willing to enroll in a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (Course Code: SIT30816)
  • You must be an Australian Citizen
